Mary J Stine, ASP has a Masters of Science in Occupational Health and Safety. She is an alumnus of UCLA, Pennsylvania State University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Capella University. Her career experience has been in multiple Industries such as Public Health: mental health awareness and public service education. She has also worked in PSM Chemicals and Manufacturing Building Construction. Her career peaked in Aerospace and Engineering with focuses on Air purification, Fuel Cell Fabrication and oil and Gas Analysis. Her lab experience has been Bio Chem, BSL and Bio-weaponry simulation. Currently she is a Senior Advisor and consultant working with fortune 500 companies on Agriculture, Pharmaceuticals and Business Continuity.

Mrs. TRICIA KAGERER CSP, CPCU – Speaker

Tricia is the Executive Vice President of Risk Management for Jordan Foster Construction a large construction organization that performs civil, multifamily, and general contracting across Texas. Tricia leads the risk management, safety, and leadership teams. Tricia is a construction industry expert and speaker on various leadership, risk management and safety topics, including crisis management, emergency response best practices, education across cultures, and servant leadership and diversity.  She holds a master’s degree in dispute resolution from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and her bachelor of science in business administration and a bachelor of arts in communication—public relations from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. Her professional credentials include Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU); Certified Safety Professional (CSP); Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS); Associate in Risk Management (ARM); Associate in Claims Management (AIC); licensed Texas claims representative and commercial agent; and served as a construction panel arbitrator with the AAA. Mr. Anis Bel Haj Aissa – Scientific Committee Member and Speaker

Mr. Anis, holder of 3 masters degrees from different international universities in HSE management, HSE engineering, and International Environmental Law and PSM certified, is a seasoned HSE professional with more than 13 years of Upstream Oil & Gas HSE advisory and managerial experience, his experience spans contractor management, project management, HSE strategy development, integrated HSE management systems and of process safety management systems development and implementation.

Souhir has been involved in HSSE and training for almost 18 years,
she has had the opportunity to work in different environments and industries, namely oil and gas and Logistics, has proved her ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level in order to develop, implement and improve efficient safety strategies and management systems and to produce practical solutions that help organizations minimize risk, prevent incidents, change behavior, and align safety strategies around business imperatives.

Mr. Tim Page-Bottorff CSP CIT – Speaker

Tim’s career in safety began 28 years ago as a marine in Operation Desert Storm, assisting put out oil fires in Kuwait. After leaving the military, Tim was awarded the ASSP Society Wide Safety Professional of the Year in 2018. Tim also received the National Safety Council’s Distinguished Service to Safety Award (DSSA). Tim is currently the Region II Vice President for ASSP, is the CEO of Total Safety Compliance, Lectures for Central Washington University and is a Senior Executive with the SafeStart team.

Tim is a thought leader in instructional design for health and safety training programs. Tim instructs for Total Safety Compliance, SafeStart, The OSHA Training Institute at UCSD, and several other customers globally. He is currently lecturing in the Occupational Health and Safety Management Program at Central Washington University.

Tim is the author of, “Safety Health and Security in Wastewater Systems” and is the author of the “Core of Four”, a motivational book to improve human performance.

Tim has a BS in Business Management and is wrapping up his master’s degree in OSH Management at Central Washington University.

Mrs. Kathleen Dobson, CSP, SMS, CHST, STS-C, LEED AP – Speaker

Kathleen is a 20+ year veteran of the construction industry. As Safety Director for Alberici Constructors, she has responsibility for and supports their automotive, heavy civil, mining, and industrial processes divisions. Kathi is engaged in project start-up and provides sites with ongoing evaluations, audits, and training when needed. Kathi is zealous regarding the safety of workers and believes that everyone should be able to say they have the right PPE, the right training, and the right environment in which to work. She is active on CURT’s EHS Committee, AISC’s Safety Committee and represents the industry on the TAUC EHS Committee, NAWIC’s Alliance with OSHA, the national A10 subcommittee, and ASSP, where she serves on the standards development committee and WISE (Women in Safety Excellence common interest group) Board of Directors.

Mrs. Rachel Michael CPE, CHSP -Speaker

Rachel is a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) & Certified Health Care Safety Professional (CHSP) and President Emeritus of the Board of Directors for the Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics (BCPE). Rachel ensures systems leverage their human components for safe, productive, and efficient outcomes and has over 20 years of experience implementing successful ergonomics controls and programs in diverse industries. An energetic and engaging trainer, she is a frequent speaker at industry events and is currently the Administrator of the Ergonomics Practice Specialty under the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and co-chair of the National Ergonomics Conference.

Mrs. Adele Abrams CMSP – Speaker

Adele Abrams is an attorney, safety professional, and trainer who is president of the Law Office of Adele L. Abrams P.C. in Beltsville, MD, Charleston, WV, and Denver, CO, a multi-attorney firm focusing on safety, health, and employment law nationwide. Adele is a certified mine safety professional and she also provides consultation, safety audits, and training services to MSHA and OSHA regulated companies. Adele is a regular columnist for numerous magazines on legal, employment, mine, and occupational safety/health issues, and is co-author of several books related to mining, construction, employment law, and occupational safety and health. She is a member of the Maryland, DC, and Pennsylvania Bars, the U.S. District Courts of Maryland, DC and Tennessee, the U.S. Court of Appeals, DC, 3rd and 4th Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court.

Mrs. Adrianne Pearson -Speaker

Adrianne Pearson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science with a focus in Geology. As an occupational environmental, safety, and health scientist, Adrianne has been working across these kaleidoscope disciplines for more than a decade. In 2018, Adrianne became the owner of Evolving EHS where as a consultant, she serves different private and public organizations and industries and communicates to various cross-functional teams.

Adrianne's work experience has taken her across a vast occupational environmental, safety, and health spectrum. Adrianne has enjoyed working on different professional projects, investigations, and activities ranging from Indoor Air Quality, employee exposure monitoring and sampling, hazardous building materials, hazardous waste disposal, transportation, sampling and management, fungi and chemical usage exposure sampling, environmental soil and water monitoring and sampling, environmental clean water permitting and program management, safety committee facilitation, and other facets of project management.

Through the course of Adrianne's career, she has recognized the power of good communication and interpersonal communication. Working in a scientific field has many obstacles especially when scientific and technical data is not easily understood. Many OHSE professionals struggle with poor presentation and public speaking skills. This can lead to miscommunication of critical information because the audience tuned out during its delivery. Adrianne is passionate about public speaking and is eager to help other OEHS professionals improve their public speaking and communication skills. She continues to improve her public speaking skills as she is a member of the Toastmasters International organization. Adrianne has had six opportunities to speak at different professional conferences in the past three years.

Ms. Lisa Lande, Ph.D -Speaker

Lisa Lande, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist with decades of experience in commercial, high-hazard, and the government sectors. Dr. Lande helps organizations worldwide establish coherence between their technical and ecological functions in order to comprehensively optimize safety and performance. She has coached, consulted, and trained nuclear, scientific, and commercial industry executives and leaders around the world for over two decades, facilitating broad-based safety, culture, and performance change. Dr. Lande is skilled at facilitating open and candid dialogue, forging trusting collaborative relationships and alliances, and systematically considering change through a broad-based socio(human)-technological-ecological systems (STES) perspective. As an innovative program and workshop developer, Dr. Lande has led numerous safety culture and leadership development initiatives within Los Alamos National Laboratory and across the Department of Energy. She has worked around the globe - in North and South America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific - and continues to influence broad-based and cooperative change efforts internationally. As illustration of her world-wide impact, Dr. Lande was recently identified as one of 2020's ten top influencers in health and safety by the HSE People. She is an enthusiastic writer and speaker who has published dozens of articles and papers and delivered hundreds of presentations and workshops, also around the globe. She is currently co-host of "The Safety View", a diverse cooperative of shared voices striving to create a meaningful understanding of safety within today's context. Mrs. Linda Tapp ALCM ,CSP, CPTD – Speaker

Linda Tapp, ALCM ,CSP, CPTD, has been working in safety and health for over 30 years and has worked in insurance, manufacturing, construction, and consulting. She is currently President of SafetyFUNdamentals, an occupational safety training company that designs safety training products that help trainers deliver highly effective and engaging training classes. She is the author of several books and a contributor to ASSP’s Consultant’s Business Development Guide and the Safety Professional’s Handbook. She is currently writing a book to be published by ASSP titled “Make Your Safety Training Stick.” Linda frequently presents at conferences across the United States.

Mrs. NICOLE IVERS, CSP, CIH, CMIOSH – Speaker

Nicole is the Corporate HSE Director for Batson-Cook Construction, as well as an adjunct instructor with the Georgia Tech OSHA Training Institute. She is a Chartered Member of IOSH, Certified Safety Professional and Certified Industrial Hygienist with a Master’s Degree in Industrial Hygiene from Wayne State University. Nicole has 20 years of experience in SH&E and Industrial Hygiene and developing and managing large safety programs for construction projects in the US and Middle East. Prior to returning to the US and joining Batson-Cook, she held roles including SH&E Director for AECOM Qatar and Capital Projects HSE Director for Qatar Foundation, overseeing projects including the New Doha Port Project, New Orbital Highway, FIFA Stadiums, Doha Oasis, & Education City. Mr. Mehdi Sahli – Speaker

Mehdi is a holder of an Energy Engineering Degree since 2007.  He is an HSE and Risk Management Expert with excessive experience in HSE Management System development and implementation, and in HSE culture enhancing in different types of industries.

His HSE expertise was developed thanks to the years he spent in different oil and gas projects with multi-disciplined teams and activities in different countries (Tunisia, France, Nigeria, Soudan…).

Since 2016, he is doing the HSE and Risk Director for Safran Tunisia, a key player in the propulsion and aerospace equipment, space, and defense sectors.

He is a firm believer that protecting people and preserving the environment is a key indicator for any project or business and he is acting to enhance the HSE culture at a national level through the creation of a Tunisian Safety Professionals group in order to share knowledge and best practices for safety society.

Mr. Hugh Maxwell – Speaker

Hugh Maxwell is Principal HSE Consultant for Chubb Global Risk Assessors (CGRA, the world’s largest publicly traded P&C insurance company and the largest commercial insurer in the USA), with senior responsibility for CGRA activities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa
Hugh has been a Fellow of IOSH since 2008 and FIIRSM since 2007. He is a Chair of the IIRSM Fellowship committee and recently had the honor as Chair for the IIRSM Covid-19 Recovery Webinars. He is an IOSH Ambassador and Mentor. He is also a NEBOSH champion and tries to give back by supporting the development of other HSE/Risk professionals whenever the occasion arises. He is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Hugh has over 25 years of international Risk and HSE senior leadership supporting manufacturing, steel, foundries, construction, welding and cutting industries. From 1987 until 2017, he worked through business management roles into senior global high-risk, high profile HSE related Management roles. Building teams, developing people, modifying behaviours, increasing engagement and ownership, and sharing accountabilities and responsibility for improving HSE Management along the way.
Maxwell’s background is high-risk manufacturing and risk management for people and processes operating in customer locations. As former HSE Director of Vesuvius PLC (a world leader in steel industry consumables) and Global Environmental Leader of ESAB (world’s leaders in welding and cutting technologies), he has led numerous risk reduction initiatives globally. A key part of this has been through developing people, reducing risks, and saving lives. His primary risk reduction strategy - Safety Breakthrough, a management change programme, resulted in him receiving the 2018 IIRSM Excellence Award for Best International Risk Initiative. He was honoured to receive a further Award from the IIRSM as Mentor of the Year in 2019. In 2020, he was Awarded Rookie of the Year by Chubb Global Risk Advisors, a prestigious internal company award presented by a group of senior managers, for his achievements in his first year with CGRA. His first Rookie award at 57 years old!
With a passion for people engagement and development, he continues to develop others wherever possible. Ms.Louise Hosking – Speaker

Louise became IOSH President in November 2021 having served as a Vice-President for 3 years and President-Elect for one year. Prior to this she was Chair of the Chiltern Branch and remains an active member of the Consultancy Sector Group.

Louise’s Presidential themes focus on “People, Sustainability and Putting the Heart into Health & Safety”. As the world learns to adapt to living in a pandemic and with climate change, she will be focusing on how the modern OSH professional will add value to their organisations by moving beyond the technical to embrace #PowerSkills and what good looks like. Louise is a first career Health & Safety Professional with over 30 years of experience. After graduating from Nottingham Trent University, she worked as an Environmental Health Officer for Cambridge City Council, for the Co-Operative promoting safe working practices and then in the construction sector before becoming Head of Environmental Health & Safety at Savills. She remains a commercial property management OSH specialist. Her consultancy, Hosking Associates, was established in 2005. As an employer and small business owner, she has a keen understanding of the distractions and pressures leaders face every day.

Louise is committed to challenging the more traditional image of a Health & Safety professional by focusing on Positive OSH achievements, innovation and highlighting the benefits to businesses of operating in a healthy, safe, sustainable and fair manner. She is an advocate for the use of positive language, so individuals learn from examples of prevention first, best practice rather than negative reinforcements of bad. From here cultural transformation can be achieved throughout organisations which make businesses more efficient, engaging, and exciting places to work and do business with.
