keynote Session 18: SAFETY COP OR SAFETY COACH

Every one of us can one day be thrust into a safety supervisory position without being provided with expectations of what the roles, responsibilities, and expected results are, or with the skills and confidence to fulfill them. Our ability to create a coaching experience will be the first skill we need to efficiently develop and maintain safety and health programs and strategies.

Our main discussions will about comparing a Safety Cop to a Safety Coach. We will be analyzing the effectiveness of both attitudes and their impact on the Occupational, Safety, and Health Program of an organization, its financial plan, and even its reputation.
